Services for Distance Students

Students who attend DIU remotely may be eligible for the following services:

DIU Library Books by Mail 

Live in the United States and need to check out a book from DIU's library collection? Email us a request listing your name, mailing address, and the full citation for the items you would like to check out. DIU library staff will mail the books to your home.  Students are required to pay return postage and any late fees.

TexShare

Distance students who reside within the state of Texas are eligible for a TexShare card, which allows students to utilize most academic and public libraries within the State. Contact us for more information on this program.

Reciprocal Borrowing

Students who reside anywhere in the United States are eligible for our Reciprocal Borrowing Program. Free membership in this program allows the student to utilize one of the hundreds of participating Christian university libraries across the U.S. Contact us to see if there is a member library near you!

DIU Library Services for Distance Ed Students

Reciprocal Borrowing Program Authorization Form

DIU distance students who are interested in registering for the Reciprocal Borrowing Program should complete the top section of the authorization form, then email the form to library@diu.edu for student verification and library signature. You must be currently enrolled in order to participate. To learn more about the Reciprocal Borrowing Program, please contact the DIU library.
